![]() ![]() ![]() She was predeceased by her loving husband Willy Marquardt and her son John Marquardt. Elizabeth is survived by daughter Heidi Marquardt (Michael Lee), sons Richard Marquardt (Deborah Marquardt) and Kurt Marquardt (Hong Pan), grandchildren Lucas, Seth, Eli, and Kristen. Above all, Elizabeth's greatest joy was spending time with her husband, children, their spouses, and grandchildren. But if asked, Elizabeth would say her greatest accomplishments in life were raising her four children and being a loving and supportive wife to her husband, Willy. ![]() In addition, Elizabeth’s ardent interest in arts and crafts was a source of great pleasure when spending time with family and friends. ![]() Besides sharing her florist design skills with the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Jericho Vermont, she kindly and lovingly offered her floral talent to others, whether it be for a wedding, birthday, baptism, or other special event. She worked at many different florists throughout her career until she retired from Kathy & Co. She started her career with Maplehurst Florist in Essex Junction, Vermont. They lived in Waldwick, New Jersey, before relocating to Essex, Vermont in 1968. During high school she met Willy Marquardt, the love of her life, and was married September 23, 1961. She was a graduate of Westwood High School, class of 1961. She was born to the late Hans and Maria Kurzik (Knecht), Septemin Westwood, New Jersey. Elizabeth Caroline Marquardt, 80, died on Februat the McClure Miller Respite House following a short illness. ![]()
